I am trying to set up remote assistance on a computer (XP Pro) but whe I get
to the send invite it will not link to the E-mail client. Any ideas?

A little addition info.

The steps follwed are;

Invite some one to help you.>

Pick how you want to contact your assistant.

Use Winows Messenger....

Or use e-mail.>

Fill in the e-mail address, and click on "invite this person">

Provide contact information.

Fill in info and click continue.>

Remote assistance -e-mail an invitation.

Fill in the information and click send Invitation.>

Error message " A program could not start. please try again."

The MSN messenger option seems to work OK, by the way. Just the e-mail will
not open.

Any ideas? I just do not know where to look for a fix on this.

Ramesh,

Thanks for the tip, but it did not help me. I checked and outlook was
already indicated as my e-mail client. I still get the same error msg.

Any other ideas?

Chuck

Chuck,

See:

If that does not help, you may save the invitation as a file, and manually
attach in your mail.
