That does not look normal

I was on another ISP before switching over to DSL and ever since then I am
unable to use RA

I have the same firewall software installed on my computer as I did before
switching ISP's.

I use Mcafee Firewall
I have Windows XP Pro SP2

the other computer also runs Mcafee Firewall
is Windows XP Home Edition SP2

Any ideas or suggestions

Thanks in adavnce

Tom

It looks as if the other person is behind a router. You've
basically got three options (ranked from easy to difficult):

1. Use Windows Messenger to establish your Remote Assistance
session.

2. Remove any routers from the equation. Make sure that both PC's
are connected directly to the Internet.

3. Open up notepad and edit the Remote Assistance invitation. If
this is your only option, here are a few resources you might want
to check out:

http://www.scscc.com/smnr/Remote Assistance4.pdf

http://www.scscc.com/sigs/eBookRemoteAssistance.pdf

You also might want to double check that Remote Assistance is
listed in the allowed applications list of McAfee firewall.
