I am trying to get remote assistance working, and when I
try to send a request via email a window
Titled "Microsoft Internet Explorer" opens with the
error "A program could not start. Please try again."

The occurs only with individuals that do not have
adminstrative privledges.

What program is it trying to start? How to I fix this?

Thanks for the help

Correction, This is occuring even to administrators
I've never been able to get Remote Assistance to e-mail an invitation.
I just create and save and send it as an attachment.

I can not even do that, I get the same error.

an invitation.

What happens if you do the following steps:

Remote Assistance
Invite someone to help you
Save invitation as a file (this is below the e-mail option)
Enter name and duration and Continue
Enter password twice and Save Invitation.

This option shouldn't launch a browser or e-mail program. You should be
able to save an invitation in any folder and then access and attach it
while creating an e-mail.

Exact same error. Apparently this has to do with clone
and using ghost or altiris. We use altiris. So far I
have not found a solution.

A friend is having the same problem trying to send an invitation. Note
that this message happens EVEN IF EMAIL IS NOT BEING USED. He is
trying to save the invitation as a file, and still gets the error
message ("A program could not start. Please try again.")
