Reminders

I was wondering if there is a feature in windows xp that
allows you to have pop-up reminders in windows for
scheduled activities that aren't related to computer
tasks (ie. a reminder for a meeting I have next week,
that would notify me 1 hour prior to it)?

Certainly therr are many free or nearly free applications on the Web that
will do what you want. There are none i know of in XP.. learn to use your
browser, it's a great tool..

Usually that would come from a third-party program. I don't think
there's anything built into Windows. Google for "reminder program".

Use MSOffice Outlook to do that... but for the reminder to pop up
Outlook must be running.
