Reminders Not Working

If you open an email in Outlook 2003 and set a dated & timed reminder flag
for this email, the notification poops up and works fine if the email is in
the Inbox. If you do this for an email that is in a folder other than the
Inbox, it does not trigger a reminder pop up - why? Is there a fix for this?

Because that's the way Outlook works: reminders work only on the Inbox.
Is there a fix for this?
