Remember Password Feature

Hi all,

Having this problem, whenever I try and put in a username/password under
tools>accounts>properties of user account>servers tab.

When I input the password and check remember password, click apply and ok

and go back into tools>accounts>properties of user account under mail
tab>servers tab there is nothing shown and everytime it prompts me for a
password, no matter how many times i type it in and click save password.

Any ideas? corruption? what?

There is a service called "Security Accounts Manager" that must
be running.
 
And if Security Accounts Manager is running as a service? what restart it
and try it again? what if it is running properly?
