Reloading XP Professional

I have a system that has crashed with XP and has files missing including Himem files, The CD I have for XP Professional is not a bootable CD, I know that there is a way to load XP from this CD by creating some bootable floopies however, I can not recall how to do this. Any Help?? Thanks in advance.
