Reloading Word after a reformat

Help! We had some corrupted Windows files, and our computer tech had to wipe the hard drive clean, reformat and start again. When I try to reload Word, I realize that both my Word discs are update files -- to 6.0 and then to 2000. They won't load because they can't confirm a previous Word product. How can I reload Word? Thanks.
 
Start installing from the 2000 CD. When it tells you it can't find a
previous version and prompts for the folder, put the version 6 CD into the
drive and tell it to look there.
