Hello,

When aquiring a new license, Windows Media Player provides an option to back
up your current licenses - but I can't find any way that tells you how to get
them back once you need them.

Can anyone tell me how?

Thanks,
Mark V

Open to the media library, select tools, manage licenses.
Or select "help" from filemenu and type in "license"
Or click F1 anytime you open the player and search.

Okay, I feel really stupid, but I can't find the "tools" option anywhere.
What does it look like and where exactly can I find it? Thank you

You must have the file menu hidden.
To show it or select tools, click the little arrow on the right side.
It is just before the minimize-restore-maximize buttons.
This is for version 10
Or click F1 and help will open.
