This is probably a dumb question, but I recently transferred my old computer
to a
new one using Alohabob. My new computer is doing strange things, Including
the
inability to load the HP 7410 program completely. I fear that I have
corrupt my
preloaded system and have never reloaded the system before, but I wonder if I
can reinstall my system and allow it to correct errors or do I have to start
with a
clean computer.
Thanks for any help

That's physically impossible, so I'm going to assume that you only
moved third-party applications and data files.

What is the "HP 7410" program? Are you talking about the print
drivers, the sanning software, or the TWAIN drivers? Is there any
reason that you can't simply reinstall it?

It's impossible to say, based on the lack of details in your post, but
that's is a very real possibility, if you're not highly experienced in
using products like Alohabob.

At this point, your safest course of action, considering your stated
level of experience, would probably be to restore the new computer to
its original ex-factory state, using whatever Recovery method and
instructions, install any necessary/desired additional applications, and
then transfer your data and settings using a more proven technique (and
one designed for inexperienced users), such as WinXP's built-in File And
Settings Transfer wizard.

If you copied your complete sys to a new system using a transfer app, you
then need to install mobo chipset and other hw drivers for your new system
