I would like to reload the system because I have a program that loaded on my
computer that won't let me delete it and the computer is slow with all kinds
of pop ups etc. How do I do this?

hii check ur your startup programs to unload the program from the
startup list on next boot up.
Start > Run > msconfig.exe >> Startup

Wouldn't it be better to find out how to remove the program? You can
always resort to the factory reload if you fail.

Get the following install get the latest definition files then scan your pc:

Spybot search and destroy activate the teatimer
spyware blaster make sure to enable all protection
adaware
Their are others so this is just a start.
Hijackthis Do NOT post the log from this on the microsoft forum there is a
special forum for that. it can be lengthy and detailed.

What is the name of the program?

What happens if you try to uninstall it using Control Panel -
Add/Remove programs?

If it is running on your computer but is not listed on Add/Remove
Programs (or is there but will not uninstall) then it is likely some
sort of virus/spyware/trojon. Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com
and do their free online scan. Post the results back here if you
need further assistance.

Good luck

It would have helped if you gave more info on what exactly is going on.
First thing to do is a thorough scan for viruses and other malware
using an up to date anti-virus program and a combination of other
anti-malware programs with all scans done in safe mode. Below I have
posted some links for info on removing viruses and malware.

If you really want to reinstall the OS it depends on whether you have an
XP installation CD or a restore CD. If it's a restore CD contact the
computer manufacturer's tech support for info on how to restore the
system. If you have an installation CD see this link:
