I am about to replace my hard drive and move the present C drive to D
drive.
I have my XP install disk and SP1 and SP2 disks, so this is not a
problem.
I do not wish to simply copy one drive to the other as I have a few
problems with speed etc in my current installation.
My question is, can I burn a CD with all the security patches that have
been downloaded and installed over the past two or more years and
install them into the newly installed Windows, or must they all be
downloaded again.

Thank you for any help.

do a google for Autostreamer, you can make a slipstream disk which will
contain your OS as well as the Sp2 disk..

Hello,
Agree with the other poster, you should slipstream SP2 "no need for SP1".
A link with "how to" and a link to download a free slipstream program .
http://www.simplyguides.net/guides/using_autostreamer/using_autostreamer.shtml
Unless you downloaded and saved the post SP2 security updates as free-
standing .exe files, which look like "windowsxp-kb"file number"-x86-enu.exe",
you will need to download and install everything after SP2.
wish you well with your endeavor.
take care.
beamish.
