reinstalling windows xp home without reg. number?

Help! my windows xp pro version was not quite legal and I
need to reinstll my home version. I don't have disc, came
with my new computer. I also don't have registration
code, but it is legal. What can I do?

Contact your retailer that sold your new computer and
purchase a system recovery disk. Typically, they DON'T
come with the new computers anymore and you should expect
to pay $25.

And what lesson have we learned here?
