I am trying to re-install powerpoint 2000 on my system and it won't take. I
can't do anything with Powerpoint Viewer. What is wrong?
I insert the disc and it just will not install.

Sounds like your trying to install from an SBE version which does not have
PowerPoint on it.

why would you want to? upgrade to 2003 and take advantage of all the new and
cool things you can do with it!!!!

"will not install" covers an awful lot of ground.
Can you narrow that down a bit?

One possibility: perhaps your CD isn't auto-running. Windows can be set not
to allow that. After you insert the CD, open it in Windows Explorer (My
Computer, doubleclick the CD icon). Find SETUP.EXE on the CD and doubleclick
it. That should start the installer.
