Reinstalled XP and can't access preivous admin data.

Well after sucessfully reinstalling windows XP and solving my previous
problems i've encounted hopefully my final problem. *Big thank you to Andrew
E*

All the re installation went perfectly no issues, the install was a rewrite
leaving exsisting data, but upon setting up the new install i have not been
able to acces the data which was previously stored in my "c:\documents and
setting\chris" file.

The re install created a new admin account but has also keep my old account
which has all the data i require within it.

What is a step by step way to acces this "write protected data" or "access
denied" data from a previous admin account.
