I installed Windows XP over an Athlon processor which I
set up as at 100Mhz instead of 133.
When I tune my processor to 133mhz as I should, XP display
a "blue error" warning me that my system meets a major
trouble, which I guess is a conflict between the
information stored in the register base and the info read
fromp my computer bios.
I am unable to retake control of my XP (either through
command line or XP reinstallation which I am not allowed
to do) unless I reset my BIOS to its original 100mhz
processor frequency.
Any guess so that I can bypass or modify the XP register
to enjoy my full speed processor without formatting my
hard disk !
