i would like to reinstall vista. if i reinstall on the same pc will i lose
one of my 2 product activations meaning i cant install again?
 
Hi,

First, you are not limited to two activations. Are you thinking of an Office
product?

You can reinstall and reactivate your copy of Vista on the same machine as
many times as you please. What you will likely have to do is phone in the
activation, as the automated, over the 'net one will not work.

I activated mine 4 times now in the last month (had a few issues with the
other installs) and havent had to call in yet.
