Reinstall Outlook 2007...best way to backup cal and contacts?

I've been cruising the forums looking for some ideas and it seems the most
referred solution is found at
http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm . Anyone know of
other solutions. I've been syncing with an iPhone (my wife's) and all of a
sudden contacts and calendar won't update tho they worked flawlessly for
almost a month. I've hit the Apple support pages, followed their instruction
but still no sync, so I'm convinced that Outlook is the culprit. Thanks in

Why would you want other solutions? That page has the BEST (and really only)
solution for backing up.

Just wasn't sure if there were any other workarounds that had worked for other people, as often happens with these funky, particular, complicated computers that have become our masters....
