Reimaging

Q: I have windows 98. I just graduated from remington and
earned a set of image cds(1 To 5) I am trying to reimage
me computer and put xp on it. when i start my computer and
hit esc. it give me three options. boot from 1 floppy 2
harddrive 3 cd drive. when i hit enter on cd drive it
starts to boot the 98 edition and it will bring up my
desktop. what am i doing wrong

I have no idea what those images are or what a remington is but if you are
trying to boot off of the cd I would go back into the bios and change the
sequence to floppy, cd then hard drive. In my bios I have to hit enter on
the hard disk and disable it, then it goes to the 3rd choice and boots from
the cd.
