is the a reference (online or printed) that pairs Microsoft applications
menues and other displayable configuration and operation controls with their
locations in the registry? How about a list of stuff that's in the registry
but not available as a menu or task bar control item?

Yes, a quick glance at the first link and the index/content structure appears
to be exactly what I need. Just sad Microsoft does not utilize an in depth
query system based on a hieratical database but then neither does Google.
Thanks.

When you find one, post a link.

Hi Wesley,

Actually query systems are quit common. Even though many claim to use neural
networking techniques and be dynamic many do not actually minimize the number
of required queries: http://20q.net hence the reason random search capability
is often preferred.

I will be happy to develop and post a link to an online query system which
minimizes the number of queries as soon as the documentation (including a
sample database) is complete if you are interested.

Thanks

Patrick
