I was trying to manually delete some spy/ad-ware, when I accidently deleted a
"classes" file under the Windows subfile. Now my computer gets stuck at the
Windows "Welcome to XP" screen. I was wondering if I could use something to
add this file back into the registry since I can not actually log on into
Windows. I was going to try the recovery console, but looked at it, and did
not want to mess anything else up. And no, I don't think I have my files
backed up, so formatting would be last option.

When booting, before "Starting Windows" would appear, hit the F8 key
repeatedly. Takes practice.
Choose LAST GOOD, and see if it will boot.

Reinstall/repair tutorials (if needed) are here...
