Registry keys and created dates

Is there any way to search the registry (e.g. with
regedit) to see when a certain key was created or modified
or otherwise inserted into the registry?

Hi

As far as I know, only "last write time" is available for a registry
key (this value is updated every time a registry value under this key
is created or changed (or a sub key is created or renamed).

You will need 3rd party software to see this value.

E.g. Resplendent Registrar at
http://www.resplendence.com/main
can display this value (right click, Properties), but it cannot do
a search on the value.
