Registry change so killing processes doesn't take a long time?

What's that registry change that makes it so if I use Windows Task
Manager to end a "not responding" program, it doesn't take a lot
of time saving info and then asking you if you want to save that
info to Microsoft?

I recall there's a registry change, and I made it on one computer,
so now if I end a program it's really fast and doesn't waste time
saving info I don't want to send to Microsoft. But I forget what
that change was.

i read your post yesterday, but
i was boggled with it.

however after some consideration i think
you are wanting to turn off the error
reporting service.

it seems that what you are describing is
when the o.s. encounters an error then
it begins to build a report that is then
transmitted. depending on the system
this can be time consuming and annoying.

go to control panel, system, advance and
look for the error reporting button to
turn off it off.
