Trying to find the best way to clean up my Registry. Just finished taxes
and there's several entries left behind by Turbo Tax. I did a search in the
registry and would really like to eliminate them. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Donna J.

Are you thinking of using Turbo next year? If so leaving them there
will allow next years version to find all that data like you name address
employer and ID numbers so you will not need to fill them in next year,
assuming you leave the data files there as well. Frankly they don't do much
sitting there all year.

I might add that if security is the issue, the actual data is
maintained in the files not the registry.

Joseph,
Thanks, yes we use the Turbo Tax each year, but I usually import the
information for the Tax information from the previous years backup. Hope I'm
making sense.
Just in the mood for some spring cleaning :-)
thanks, Donna J.

The registry entries will find last years backups for you. They really
don't hurt anything.

I got your problem. You wana keep your computer neat n clean. So you should use a software which can remove unnecessary files from your computer. You may use 'Cleanup' software for that pupose, down load it from Freedownload.co
Rg.

Qamar,
Have you tried this program? I've been reading a lot of information on
the MS website about editing the registry. It sounds like it wouldn't take
much to mess the registry up completely.
