Is there a way to delete all entries at once in the registry.

I want to delete all references to "QUICKEN" and find hundreds individual
ones. Is thre a way not to have to do this one by one???

Not with regedit. maybe one of the better 3rd party registry editors out
there may have that feature, BUT what if you get an "embedded entry" and
hose something you didn't intend to? It won't take long to view and
delete them individually. F3 key and Del keys work well.

Thanks for the reply. I did not know the trick of F3 and Delete.
But there were still probably 100's of entries. It still took a LONG time to
delete all references to Quicken.

But thanks nevertheless. Your advicce made a little bit faster, anyway.

You're welcome, just thinking about using "auto find and delete" in the
registry gives me the willies!

Ritter197,

The F3 is Find Next & DEL will prompt you if you are sure you want to felete
the selected entry...

Unlike Bob - I love messing with the registry

No, I said "Auto find and Delete", I have no problem with doing it manually.
