I was wondering if I could find somewhere that would tell
me what programs came with XP Home Edition.

I as this because I want to get rid of some things, like
Belt.exe, and istsvc, and I don't know what they are for.
If they are for XP, then I will leave them.

So, where can I find this out?

They appear to be spyware related.
I stole these from http://www.google.com sites
**Belt.exe**....
McAfee calls this "IPSentry Application" - http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_100622.htm
and
**istsvc**...
In the Registry
Navigate to the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
In the right pane, delete the value: "IST Service" = "C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\ISTsvc.exe"
Navigate to and delete the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ISTsvc
Spybot

Ad-aware

Hi,

Probably most of what you want to get rid of can be found under Add & Remove
in the Control Panel. The Windows components has their own section, so most
of what you see in the list outside of hotfixes and updates installed from
the WindowsUpdate site is likely optional stuff.

The easy way to get rid of spyware is to download and
install Ad-Aware. One place to obtain it is:

http://www.webattack.com/get/adaware.shtml

This software will detect, and optionally remove, the
spyware.
