can someone please tell me wht after everyboot up i get a regangen.exe error
and how can i fix that? i did an xp repair and it still pops up cant fix it
if i dont know what the source is whitch i am wondering if it has anything to
do with quest or dell thank you

I Believe you have a Trojan.GEN on your computer, so try to scan for malware
and Viruses on this machine.
1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies
by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.
How to manage Add-Ons:

2... You need to be sure your system is clean from malware and Viruses by
scanning for them

yeah well i do that on a daily daily basis like a religous routine i always
clean and scan trust me its not that i even did a norton scan avg scan
adaware scan somting is trying to start up at boot and isnt that is the
problem

Well, if you put up a problem and then poo-poo the answer then you
aren't going to get much help here. I did a Google on your
'regangen.exe' file and got loads of hits. Each of them tells me it's a
threat virus.

I'd suggest that you take a look at some of the Google entries and see
what the threat is and how to remove it.
