Refreshing???

I have a parent/child form/subform linked by Med Number. The sub form then
has several records. On sub form is floor locations. If patient moves I
need to list the new floor location. With that, the therapist may change.
When I use the Control F9 to refresh, the subform goes back to the first
record instead of staying in the current record. How do I keep it in the
current record?
