I have an issue with a particular web site. When I use this website from
any of the i.e 6.0 (windows xp2) browsers in my office the following occurs.
When I click on the websites buttons, such as logon. The window flashes for
a second and then nothing happens. If I click refresh ( and retry) then
click the logon button again the site logs me on or what ever the particular
button I clicked does. If I access this site from outside of my office
using windows xp sp2 ie 6.0 all works perfectly (no refresh required) if I
use Mozilla or netsape inside my office allso no issue.

I obviously have a setting somewhere most likely in a group policy setting
that is causing this behaviour but I can not find it.
Does anyone have any ideas on where I should look.

Thanks in advance for you assistance.

If you want to disable gruop policy settings, do the following:
1- in the RUN, type "gpedit.ms", and then press OK.
2- in the left pane, right click on the "Local Computer Policy" and in thr
dropdown menu, select "Properties".
3- at the bottom of the page enable "Disable Computer configuration
settings" and " Disable user configuration settings"
4- reboot your system.
Good Lock!

Thank you for your assistance. I followed the procedure to turn off GP
settings and rebooted but this did not impact the issue I am having.

What settings either explorer, network connection, or elswhere would affect
how a page is cached? What ever is causing this is IE explorer specific but
only within my office. This is starting to make me crazy.
