I have an aspx page with a GridView named gvTasks that has a linkbutton on
each row that calls up another pop-up window using the following js
function:

function openTask(id, coid)
{
var surl = "TaskEdit.aspx?id=" + id + "&coid=" + coid;
void
window.open(surl,null,"height=400,width=600,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no");
return false;
}

Since that pop-up page changes data I would like to have the GridView
refreshed when I close the TaskEdit.aspx pop-up window. Is there any way to
do this in asp.net? Thanks.

How about using the Server.Transfer() method from TaskEdit.aspx to
call the host page for gvTasks?

How would that help? Remember, the opener page (with GridView) stays active
during this whole time so how could I do a Server.Transfer to an already
open web page? Thanks.
