reformating windows XP?

I've run into a problem and I need to reformat my hard
disk. I can't figure out how to reformat in Windows XP.
I've never had a problem reformatting in previous
versions of Windows. Any help would be appreciated.

Boot from the XP CD and follow the prompts.
