reference a cell

I create a printed report from a spread sheet. The report has page
references, for example -

"see instructions on page 15."

Each time the report is updated, all these page references have to be
rechecked.

I have been told that in Excel you can create a reference to a cell with a
link or hyperlink. I am not an Excel expert, but I looked through our
documentation and came up empty on how to create a reference to the printed
page number.

Hopefully this is something standard that everyone knows.

I would be thankful for anyone's help in this.

Create a defined name in the location you want to go to. Then
press CTRL+k to bring up the Hyperlink dialog. There, choose
"Place in This Document" on the left side of the dialog, and
select your name under Defined Names. Change the "Text to
display" to the text you want to display in the cell.

Thank you Chip Pearson. I'll try this tonight:

1.) first get print preview
2.) define a named range for each page (like PG5)
3.) for each cell referenced, get the named range it is in, and then use the
name of that range

Thanks again
