Check Help for complete Autotext information. To
summarize, select the word you want, and press Alt + F3
(or click Insert > Autotext > New). Your selection will
be highlighted in the resulting dialog box. If it is just
one word, click OK. Otherwise, shorten it to the first
word or two. Shortening is not necessary, but it can make
it tidier when you search autotext entries at Insert >
Autotext.
The autocomplete feature works after you have typed at
least four letters. It will not suggest anything until
you have typed a unigue entry. For instance, Best Wishes
and Best Regards are identical until you get to the first
letter of the second word. At that time, autocomplete
will make a suggestion.
One other trick: As an example, type your full name,
select it, press Alt + F3, and type just your initials in
the box where you name the autotext entry. Click OK. Now
if you type your initials and press F3, it will fill in
your whole name just as you typed it. This method can
work well if you have several autotext entries that begin
with the same words.

I am trying to find out how to add words to a list that I
commonly type on a daily basis. Like when you start to
type December, you get to the 2nd e and then a pop up
comes up and says hit enter to insert. How do I add words
and names?
