Hoping someone can help me with this problem!!! I
purchased a used Dell Latitude Cpx laptop w/ XP Pro &
Office XP installed. It did not come with the
installation CD's. I installed AOL & added 128mb of RAM.
When I went to use Word, I recieved a message that
went something like this: "due to a significant change
in your machine's configuration, Office is now in reduced
functionality mode. Please insert your original Office CD
and click next and follow the onscreen instructions to
restore full functionality of your Office
programs . . . ."
Now I cannot create, modify, or save documents in Word,
and I imagine the other Office programs are also going to
be affected. Is there any way to restore Office to full
functionality without the CD?
I woulkd appreciate any help!!!!! Thanks!!!

Go online. Open Word and click on Help> Activate Product. If online
activation fails, follow the on screen directions or contact Dell for
further assistance.
