How can I found about this subject. I followed Peter
Huang's advice from an old post but option 4 for the
Microsoft phone he gave is no longer valid.

What are people doing when they want to deploy a world
ready applications that need a unicode font? I don't
want my users to have to go find the font on their XP
install CD and figure out how to fool the system to
install the that font.

Thanks!

Bob

Ken,

Nice Font installer. Thank you!

What is the line supposed to do:
Process.Start("barcode.exe")

It never seems to get processed.

You anticipated my next question with your response.

Q2: "How do I install a font without having to reboot
windows?"

I am still though stuck on my first question.

Q1: "How do I get license permission to redistribute
ArialUNI.TTF?"

I found a web site of a company that claims that they
made arialUNI.TTF for Microsoft and they say they can
provide a near twin sister of arialUNI.TTF. I am waiting
for their reply note to see what the sticker shock is
going to be. When they don't post pricing on the web
site I know I am sunk!

But if I ever get a font to install ... I have a nice
installer now.

This explains why that guy I traded emails with (the one
who said his company made the Arialuni.ttf for) MicroSoft
sounded like I would need to get clearance from his
company to use the font.

That is what the web site you set me said. Not Microsoft
but the vendors who provide the font need to give
clearance. I am hoping.
