Is there a way to send Outlook2003-detected junk mail directly to Deleted
folder?

Thanks.

Alan

No. You can configure the Junk Email protection to permanently delete all
junk mail, but that bypasses the deleted items folder so you should only do
that if you're absolutely sure you're not getting any false positives.

if your goal is to empty it regularly, enable autoarchive to delete the
items in the folder on a regular basis - like set it to run daily, deleting
messages older than 3 days (to allow you time to look for misdirected
items).

Diane,

Thanks very much.

That will do the trick for the 600+ a day. Where is congress when you need
them?

Or you can select "Permanently delete suspected junk e-mail instead of
moving it to the Junk E-mail folder" and do away with manual removal
altogether.

as long as you are 100% sure the filter only gets junk mail - mine gets
newsletters too.
