Have been troubled with red x's instead of photos and graphics in some
e-mails ffor a long time now with no solution in sight. I have everything
set right as to "show pictures" and "include pictures in message" etc and my
Outlook Express is set for HTML. Running XP with 512 mb of Ram. My friends
are experiencing the same problems. Any suggestions or advice would be very
greatly appreciated. TIA. Stan

You have save them to your HD first, then insert them. Copy/paste
won't work.

Well, you could start by posting to the appropriate email newsgroup !! And
you havent even said what your email program is, however because of that I'm
going to make a wild stab in the dark and guess its Outlook Express.

Step 1) Are the photos there and you can't see them, or are they not there
at all?
]You can probably guess by looking at the size of the email. If its not very
big, then you weren't sent the pictures.] If you werent sent them , you wont
be able to read them!
Step 2) If they are there, are they being sent by someone from AOL?
Step 3) If they are, do some research into this specifically, such as are
there more recent versions of AOL they should be on, or are there picture
viewers for AOL you can load into Outlook Express?
Step 4) What is common about the folks that can and cant see the pictures?
Can the sender send such an email to several people and have only some see
the pictures? is it just people using a particular email reader that cant
see them.
