When going thru the following path:
Start\help & support\performance & maintenance\using
system restore to undo changes\PICK A TASK, I find "Run
the system restore wizard" has a "RED DOT" on the end of
it..no other item does. Does that RED DOT" have any
significance?

I have two computers running Windows XP Professional. One has
System Restore automatically monitoring my System Partition (and
includes a Restore Point that I manually created). And one has
System Restore turned off. And on both of these computers a "RED
DOT" appears at the end of the "Run the system restore wizard"
sentence in the location that you indicated. To me the "RED DOT"
looks more like a very small red arrow pointing to the right,
that is within a green (or blue) rectangular box that is about 3
times bigger than the arrow.

Anyway. I cannot find any documentation about this icon. But I
think it is an indicator that if you click it (or the sentence)
you are going to run the System Restore Wizard as opposed to
opening another Help Topic. Note that no other sentence on that
page (titled "Using System Restore to undo changes") has a "RED
DOT" at the end of it. And no other sentence on that page opens
a Wizard when you click on it - they all open Help Topics...
