I am attempting to clean out the recycle bin which
appears to have contents. When I reply yes to wanting to
delete 25 items (which I can not see) I get the following
message.

Cannot delete D@1: Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and
that the file is not currently in use.

My D drive is a Compaq DVD-ROM DV28EB DVD/CD-ROM drive.
I'm running Windows XP Professional.

My view is set to view all files including system files.

Any Ideas?

Of course, the D@1: file has nothing to do with your D drive.

What is the source of the file? I.e., if you were to restore it, where
would it go? I had a virus once that behaved similarly.
