Everytime I delete something I always have seen it go to the recycle bin,
even if I drag the file to the bin. Yet now when I press delete, it still ask
if I am sure i want to delete the file "filename"? I click yes then it will
disapear yet not will be shown in the recycle bin, it says its empty.
Any assistance would be greatly appreachiated.

Note: Files that were previously deleted will be permanently erased from the Recycle
Bin.

Create a notepad document and save it (any name will do).
Now delete the file so that it goes to the recycle bin.
Empty the recycle-bin.

To test, create another file and then delete it – does it now show up in the recycle
bin?

If not, then continue on to the following site for more information.

Thanks for the help. Found out that the settings under recycle bin properties
was set to not show in the bin and auto-permante delete the delete files.
found that out when went to the weblink you gave my in the 2nd part when you
would goto start\run\cmd and CD RECYCLED, that didn't find the file or
folder, so i rightclicked on the recycle bin\properties to find the exact
location then i saw the settings was jack up, so thanks for your help,
