more information would be helpful. Did this happen all of the sudden, without making any changes to your computer
Did you add new sofware, Virus program? Anything? Or did you turn on your computer and it was just gone?

Click on Start->My Computer and then click on your disk drive (C
Do you see it in the list under Name? It should be one of the folders.
It's marked simply "folder" not "file folder" In my system it's right
above the "System Volume Information" folder.
To restore it, visit http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=810869
and follow the bouncing ball

I tried your directions, just to see what you were talking about, eddie, I figure I can learn something new everyday, but when I followed your directions, I got completely different results..there was no such folder, nor was there a system volume information folder...

You'll have to go to folder options...view tab..check show hidden files and
folders.. uncheck hide protected system files to see it.
