Recycle Bin settings for each drive

I have multiple hard drives installed in my case. The
larger ones I am using for large and frequently moved
files. I have set the Recycle bin options to Remove
deleted files immediately (non C drives only). XP is
reseting this to " Move to recycle bin". I have
repeatedly/constantly changed this back. How do I
prevent XP from changing it back?
Any help is appriciated. Thank you.

Right click on the Recycle Bin and select Properties. On the Global tab,
remove the checkmark from 'Use one setting for all drives.' I admit to
having made this mistake. Usually my mistakes are somewhat more spectacular.

Thanks, but incorrect. I HAVE this setting changed.

any other ideas?
