Matt

I have a problem with restoring files from the recycle
bin. I had put some pictures I didn't need any more so I
put them in the recycle bin last year. A few days ago, I
needed one of the pics again, and when I did it gave me a
message sayin "Cannot move (file): Access is denied. Make
sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the
file is not currently in use". But, when I tried to
restore pictures I had deleted within the past or so, or
something that wasn't a picture, it worked fine. I am not
the administrator of the computer, but I don't think
that's the problem because I was able to restore other
files. Please help me!

The recycle bin should not be used for storage. What may
have happened is the file was overwritten by other items
placed in the recycle bin. If it was in there for a year,
it is most likely gone.
