Recurring tasks

Is there a way to make a recurring daily task, regenerate new task [7]
day(s) after each task is completed, weekdays instead of days? Making the
days equal [9] to include the weekends will cause some tasks to fall on
weekends. Thanks.

I don't know if this will work, but what about making the task a weekly
task, specifying only the weekdays and regenerate after 7 days?
