Thanks for your update.
Please reproduce the issue, and capture the popup error message. Please
upload it to the newsgroup.
Also, please check the archive setting for the Calendar. Open the
Properties of Calendar, and check the auto-archive configuration under
AutoArchive tab.
In addition, please check the other appointments which are out-of-date. Do
they exist or not?

|And when I end the occurance, I get an error message that stats Any
|exceptions associated with this recurring appoitment will be lost.
If any
|of the exceptions are meetings, the attendees will not be notified.
Is this
