Recurring appointment every 7 weekdays

How can I set an appointment's recurrence to every 7th
(or 9th or whatever) weekday? ie if it's on Monday this
week it will be on Wednesday next week etc.
 
There doesn't appear to be any way to do this from within Outlook itself.
You might want to look at a 3rd party add-in called WS:Repeat Appointment
that allows you to choose a more customized pattern for recurring
appointments. Details here:
