Hello,
I recently had a problem with my old PC, the power supply failed resulting
in failure of my mother board and keyboard. After trying to fix the problem,
I decided it was best to just buy a new computer. My problem is in
recovering my old files from my old hard disk. I have plugged the old disk
into the new computer as a second drive, and I can access most of the files.
Unfortunatly, I had some of my folders marked "PRIVATE" and I am unable to
access those files.
I have also tried to boot from the old disk, I thought that may allow me to
access the files, replacing the new hard drive with the old one, but the new
computer fails to boot from my old computer hard drive.
Can you provide any guidance on how I may recover the folders from my old
drive that I had marked as "private"?
