recovery of some sort

i know there's a way to take ur computer back to an
earlier status. its like defaulting to a chosen time with
the settings u want. like if u wanted to restore the
settings u had @ around 5'oclock or even 2wks ago you
could. i cant remember what the exact terminology is
either, thats why im having such a hard time

Depends on the operating system. XP has a System Restore Point
option, if that's what you're running.
