Recovery Media Creator

I am reformatting my hard drive and reinstalling all of my software. Is
there a way for me to make Recovery Disks so that the next time this needs
to be done, I can simply restore my system to a new state without having to
reload my operating system and applications from their original disks. I
have heard of ":Recovery Media Creator" but can't find it on the internet,
and even if I could, I'm no sure this is what I need. Can anyone give me
some help?

The easiest way to do this is to use two drives and use the second one as a
clone of the first. Expensive? Not really, hard drives are very inexpensive
these days. Effective? Well, I do a complete clone every few days (multiple
disks though and I keep backups for a number of weeks depending but I use
large disks and lots of partitions to do this and it's a bit more complex)
but it's not hard. In fact you can do it for free if you have a second hard
drive:

Note: I use Norton Ghost (the only Norton Product I use) for this but I have
it on good authority that this is just as easy to work with and just as
effective. Some claim it's faster but I'm stuck in my routine so I stick
with Norton.
