recovery after virus

since finding i had the kuand 2 virus in my system 32 files and moving them
too my virus chest i have lost system restore,system update and search.i get
either blank page or the hourglass flicks on then nothing.is there anyway i
can get my computer back too normal?
 
Hi

Try a System Restore back to a point before the problem started. Then virus
check your system again.

Hi

If you've completely lost SR, you will either have to reinstall SR - which
will mean that all checkpoints will be lost - or you will have to try a
'Repair' install of XP. Again all checkpoints will be lost. ATM, I can't
see a way for you to access any of the checkpoints.
